Garden of Wild Food

Thursday, December 22nd, 2016

Can the edible wild plants that Cape foragers forage for be grown commercially? If so, it would be a win-win for both the local environment and economy. Recently, I wrote an article about a pilot garden project in Khayelitsha, a Cape Town township, that is testing how well these plants do when cultivated. You can read the article in Whetstone, an intelligent new publication about food origins, at this link.
